Hodges minilesson

In two parts I will be posting John Hodges' draft minilesson from a few
years ago. Note that there are language errors in the text, but not too
many, and the word lists he was using is now three years old, hence may
not be completely on track with current reality. But interesting first last
(oops) phrases and sentences he DOES have. Have fun with it and people
are welcome to add to it, correct it, or whatever, as you wish. I've left
out some of the boilerplate that is not relevant to the "interesting phrases"
question.
