Dean Gahlon muses that Lojban has a steep learning curve. It does. What this
means is, after three hours with the level 1 materials (Not necessarily the
Level 2 or 3, which are more fine tuning) and a ju'i lobypli, you will know
exactly what's going on with the language; before that, the same is unlikely.
That was my experience, in any case.
