parser bug - or my?

I feed this line to the parser:

    mi cuscu lu .ue la djan. klama li'u

And the answer was:

    (mi {cuscu <[(lu ue) ({la djan} {klama VAU}) li'u] VAU>})

So it seems parser think the quotation itself is surprise!
And it was a great surprise for me :-)...

So can I quote the sentence beginning with emotional indicator?
