EXTD=\n
EXTD=  1. Important Information\n
EXTD= \n
EXTD= a. This program is designed to be run under Windows 3.1, \n
EXTD= Windows for Workgroups 3.11 or Windows 95. It may run \n
EXTD= under other operating systems, but it is not designed to \n
EXTD=   work with them.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= b. Statement information does not appear on applicable \n
EXTD= accounts until the first statement date after the initial\n
EXTD=   connection to National City.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= c. If you wish to use the export to Quicken or Money \n
EXTD= feature of National City Online Banking, make sure the \n
EXTD= Preference Save online banking data to Managing Your Money\n
EXTD= on Exit under Options from the File menu is not selected. \n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= d. The internal date of your PC must be accurate. \n
EXTD= Changing the internal date of your PC may results in \n
EXTD= inaccurate or incomplete financial information.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=  2. Modem Troubleshooting Tips\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= Windows Modems: If you have a modem that uses \n
EXTD= specialized Windows drivers, such as the USR Winmodem, \n
EXTD= you may experience problems connecting with the Banking \n
EXTD= Center. If so, contact the modem's manufacturer for \n
EXTD= advice on how to configure the modem.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=  3. Known Problems\n
EXTD= \n
EXTD= a. On some printers, the footer on the printouts from the\n
EXTD= Banking Center may not be shown. If this occurs and you \n
EXTD= wish to view the footers on your reports, you will need \n
EXTD= to print them out in landscape mode.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= b. The National City Online Banking Center needs to use \n
EXTD= the MS Sans Serif font which is installed with Windows. \n
EXTD= If the program cannot access this font, the display in \n
EXTD= the program may look incorrect or the program will not \n
EXTD= run correctly. This problem can also occur if you have \n
EXTD= the 'Show Only True-Type Fonts in Applications' option\n
EXTD= selected in the Control Panel font settings.\n
EXTD=    \n
EXTD= c. To permanently change the print setting, you must \n
EXTD= choose 'Setup' from the Print window. This window \n
EXTD= appears when you select Print from the File menu or the\n
EXTD= Print button within the Banking Center. Print settings\n
EXTD= selected from the Print Setup window accessed from the\n
EXTD= File menu may not be saved correctly.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=        \n
EXTD=   d. OCRAWARE and OCRAWARE32 (scanner software) are known\n
EXTD= to cause software conflicts. It is recommended that \n
EXTD= before running (fill in Bank Software name) that you turn\n
EXTD=   off   OCRAWARE and OCRAWARE32.\n

EXTD=II. National City Online Banking with Managing Your Money\n
EXTD=____________________________________________________________\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=1.  Information for All Users\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= a. During the actual importing of your Banking Center \n
EXTD= files, you will notice the same file name displays more \n
EXTD= than once. This is normal as each file needs to be read \n
EXTD= several times to retrieve different types of transactions.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= b. If you are a MYM user, it is recommended that you \n
EXTD= always launch the Banking Center within MYM.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= c. The number of days MYM will use to match the date of a\n
EXTD= posted item to an existing transaction in the account\n
EXTD= register is set using the MYMWIN.INI file found in the\n
EXTD= NCOnline directory (or the directory name you chose to\n
EXTD= install into if you did not choose the default). If you\n
EXTD= find that MYM is incorrectly matching posted items, you \n
EXTD= can change the value of one of the following entries which\n
EXTD= are found under the [Banking Center] section of the \n
EXTD=   MYMWIN.INI File.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=   NonCheckDateRange=6\n
EXTD= This sets MYM to look up to 6 days before and after a \n
EXTD= posted transaction for a match. This is used for all \n
EXTD= posted items with the exception of checks.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=   CheckDateRange=60\n
EXTD= This sets MYM to look up to 60 days previous to a \n
EXTD= posted transaction for a match. This is used for checks\n
EXTD=      only.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=   CheckForwardDateRange=10\n
EXTD= This sets MYM to look up to 10 days after a posted\n
EXTD= transaction for a match. This is used for checks only.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= If you need to modify these settings, do NOT use Windows\n
EXTD= Write or any word-processing program. Windows Notepad is \n
EXTD= suitable for changing this file. You must only make these \n
EXTD= changes while the program is not running. Once you make \n
EXTD= changes, they will take effect the next time you import \n
EXTD= posted transactions from the Banking Center.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=2. General Information on Importing From:\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= A. Prior Versions Of MYM For Windows\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= Custom check forms created in a prior version of MYM \n
EXTD= for Windows will convert. However, the first time \n
EXTD= you print checks after the conversion, you will be\n
EXTD= asked to choose the check form again.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= B. Prior Versions of MYM For DOS\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=     1. PORTFOLIOS: \n
EXTD= a. MYM for DOS removes the prior years' Income \n
EXTD= transactions during COPY. If you have Reinvested \n
EXTD= Dividends whose corresponding income transactions \n
EXTD= were removed during COPY, these will import as BUYS \n
EXTD= instead of REINVESTED. You will need to delete them \n
EXTD= in National City Online Banking with MYM and add them \n
EXTD=      as REINVESTED.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= b. MYM for DOS Version 12: Return on Investment Old \n
EXTD= Income entries are not imported into National City\n
EXTD= Online Banking with MYM. Disregard the associated \n
EXTD= error message generated in the MYM Import log.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=     2. LOANS: \n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= Negative Escrow: National City Online Banking with MYM \n
EXTD= does not support Negative Escrow. It is suggested that \n
EXTD= you change it to positive after importing to avoid \n
EXTD=      errors in your data.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=     3. LAST RECONCILED BALANCE:\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= National City Online Banking with MYM does not import \n
EXTD= the last reconciled balance from MYM for DOS accounts. \n
EXTD= Instead, it calculates this balance after import by \n
EXTD= totaling the transactions marked "Reconciled" on the \n
EXTD= register. If you have manually marked a transaction \n
EXTD= as "Reconciled" in MYM for DOS, your last reconciled \n
EXTD= balance may be different after Import.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=     4. QUOTELINK:\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= a. For MYM for Windows Version 1 users, the QuoteLink\n
EXTD= Only Import is no longer necessary as QuoteLink is \n
EXTD= supported in National City Online Banking with MYM.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= b. QuoteLink Login scripts are not imported from MYM\n
EXTD= for DOS because National City Online Banking with MYM \n
EXTD= uses different scripts. Please check your login script\n
EXTD= after import if you had modified it in MYM for DOS.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=     5. Importing MYM for DOS, Versions 9, 10, 11 and 12:  \n
EXTD= Diamond's Stealth 64 video program may cause import to\n
EXTD= fail or data to import improperly. Be sure to close \n
EXTD=      it before importing.  \n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= C. Prior Versions Of MYM CheckFree Services\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= As mentioned in the User's Guide you must deactivate\n
EXTD= CheckFree prior to importing data into National City\n
EXTD= Online Banking with MYM. In any such case you need to\n
EXTD= follow this up with a written confirmation to CheckFree\n
EXTD= that you wish to cancel the service.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=   D. Quicken(r), MS Money(r) And CA-Simply Money(r)\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= Always consult the documentation provided with your \n
EXTD= personal finance software before importing data into\n
EXTD= National City Online Banking with MYM.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD=     3. Known Problems\n
EXTD=    \n
EXTD= a. Diamond Viper and AT Graphics Ultra Pro Video Cards:\n
EXTD= If you use one of these cards and choose to run with \n
EXTD= 16 colors at high resolution (800x600 or above), the\n
EXTD= SmartDesk screen will not be displayed correctly. \n
EXTD= Switching to 256 or more colors using the utilities \n
EXTD= provided by the video card manufacturer will correct\n
EXTD=      this.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= b. High Resolution Video Cards: On some high \n
EXTD= resolution video cards set to 256 or more colors, the\n
EXTD= displayed colors may be incorrect in other applications\n
EXTD= after running National City Online Banking with MYM.\n
EXTD= Restarting the other application will correct this\n
EXTD=      condition.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= c. Windows 95 users may not be able to use the Clock \n
EXTD= and Calendar features in National City Online Banking\n
EXTD= with MYM. The Clock.exe and Calendar.exe files are no\n
EXTD= longer included in the Windows 95 installation. If \n
EXTD= Windows 95 is installed as an upgrade from Windows 3.x,\n
EXTD= these features may still be available. Use the Menu \n
EXTD= Setup option under the Tools menu to edit the path to\n
EXTD= these programs or change the options to point to any\n
EXTD= other application you wish to use.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= d. Print Checks: Citizen 180D printers and some \n
EXTD= Panasonic printers do not print multiple pin-feed \n
EXTD= checks correctly with the Windows printer drivers that\n
EXTD= were available at the time of the release of National\n
EXTD= City Online Banking with MYM. You can either print one\n
EXTD= check at a time or set the printer to emulate another\n
EXTD= printer such as an Epson.\n
EXTD=       \n
EXTD= e. Errors: If a "General Application Error" is receive\n
EXTD= please record what you were doing prior to the error\n
EXTD= occurring. Repeat the steps which caused the error. \n
EXTD= If the error recurs, please contact Technical Support\n
EXTD= at 1-888-622-4932. This is NOT the same as a Windows\n
EXTD= General Protection Fault and is almost always harmless.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= f. Displaying Graphs: National City Online Banking with\n
EXTD= MYM uses a program called GSW.EXE for displaying graphs.\n
EXTD= If another application which uses GSW.EXE is installed \n
EXTD= AFTER the installation of National City Online Banking \n
EXTD= with MYM, you may be unable to display graphs. (The \n
EXTD= other program may use an incompatible version of \n
EXTD= GSW.EXE.) To correct this, you will need to reinstall\n
EXTD= National City Online Banking With MYM.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= g. Mouse Managers: Some mouse managers, such as \n
EXTD= Logitech Mouseware may cause problems when running with\n
EXTD= National City Online Banking with MYM. The solution to\n
EXTD= this is to close down any special programs the mouse\n
EXTD=      manager may use. \n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= h. If you double click on the National City icon on \n
EXTD= either the SmartDesk or the toolbar, you may see an\n
EXTD= error stating that the Banking Center is not installed,\n
EXTD= either just before, or just after the Banking Center \n
EXTD= starts. If this occurs, click OK on the error dialog\n
EXTD=      to close it.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= i. If you try to scroll through an account register\n
EXTD= using the keyboard, you may find that when you scroll\n
EXTD= to an electronic transaction it may be necessary to use\n
EXTD= the mouse to continue scrolling.\n
EXTD=\n
EXTD= j. If you use OmniPage scanning software and \n
EXTD= experience GPFs in MYM, you need to disable the \n
EXTD=      OPWARE16.EXE or the OPWARE32.EXE  files used by the\n
EXTD=      OCR software.\n
