 General Comments:
The Alex-368 virus was submitted in December, 1992. It is originally
from the USSR. Alex-368 is a non-resident, direct action infector
of .COM programs, but not COMMAND.COM.

When a program infected with the Alex-368 virus is executed, this
virus will infect all .COM programs larger than approximately 2K
located in the current directory. Infected programs will have a
file length increase of 368 bytes with the virus being located at
the end of the file. The program's date and time in the DOS disk
directory listing will have been updated to the current system date
and time when infection occurred. The following text strings
can be found within the viral code in all Alex-368 infected programs:

"The One Night Virus (c) Alex Hacker"
               "*.COM"
