A recent comment from deep, deep in the Apropos of Something archives (in response to a positively thrilling entry about preventative PC maintenance):
Comments:

I’m 26, and I’ll send a photo as soon as my lastest round of tasteful glamour shots are back from the studio. Thanks for reading…

Heh. The strange thing is that I still remember the time when you were doing that computer maintenance and telling us about it in #sq.
Btw, you still didn’t liyour him the number.
Looks like comments spam to me. I’ve gotten some pretty weird ones.
Fritz: I thought comment spam when I first saw it, too. Unlike the average comment spam, however, there’s no URL included in the comment — only an e-mail address. I suppose Google might still index the e-mail address and boost the domain’s PageRank, but that seems like a fairly roundabout way of doing it.
I’ve gotten whole series of comment spams and a few will have URLs missing. Imagine a boiler room in Asia or Eastern Europe with dozens of people typing these comments into blog comment forms. The copy is often strange and in broken English like this:
“You make good pint, buddie. I think you need to visit site right now.”
Very similar.
