And the award for Worst Argument in Favor of Having an Exam Grade Changed in an Introductory Political Science Course goes to…

“I knew the right answer was A and I meant to circle it, but I accidentally circled D instead. Can I get credit for that?”

    Oh, that’s almost as good as the one I got last semester. “I know that [my essay] didn’t really answer the question, but I thought that was okay.”

    I am just FULL of weak arguements like that. If I can come up with ANY lame excuse to do what I want, instead of what the professor wants, I am going to throw it out there. I am such a pain in the ass. At least I am self-aware.
