Deep in the Apropos of Something archives, a heated debate continues to rage on among commenters presumably stumbling onto the site via Google: bear or tiger?

Ah, interesting quandry…I say the bear…lemme post! Lemme post!
Note that in the “bear or tiger” entry, I mentioned that I’d be more interested in seeing which would win, a great white shark or a croc.
Seems the Discovery channel, or something like that, put together such a theoretical encounter, and showed it last week. I didn’t get to see it though :(.
I had no idea that I had tapped into such a random bit of zeitgeist.
