New series to follow ‘Amish in the City’

The UPN television network is preparing a reality series that follows Amish teenagers having their first experiences with modern conveniences and outside society, part of a religious rite of passage that tests their faith… (more at CNN.com)

Meanwhile, I just keep having flashbacks to an international relations seminar I took a couple of years back in which we watched Witness starring Harrison Ford and discussed its relevance to world politics. <shudder>

    Could be worse. The worst reality concept I’ve heard of…except mine…I’ll share it later…is called My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance.

    They pay this woman 1 million dollars to let her parents think she’s marrying a total idiot/jerk/pervert. Oh…I just…oh, I wanna smack Fox…all I can say. Especially when, like Sci Fi can’t stop popping up the Scare Factor, or whatever the heck show the ex-90210 chick hosts, you see this poopish promo during EVERY commercial break during football season. GAH!
