The lead sentence from this AP article running in the Athens Banner-Herald today:
Turkey and trots are just part of the Thanksgiving celebrations in store today.Personally, I’m hoping that the trots won’t enter into my Thanksgiving Day festivities.

In that article, it says “President Bush will spend the holiday with family in Texas and plans to call soldiers to thank them for their service in Iraq.”
I generally do not like our president, but I must commend him for making up that whole story and secretly surprising the troops in Iraq. That was impressive. I wonder if he had any trot.
Oh yeah, Happy Thanksgiving! So where are you having dinner today? With the folks or the in-laws?
Actually, we’re sticking around Athens this year. Both of us had a ton of work to do over the weekend and just didn’t have time to make the trip back to Castlewood. Oh, well…we’re still having a blast.
