Hello!

I'm playing through SQ5, and it's been many years since the first time I finished it, and now I'm "stuck".

I want to find the Goliath so I can board it with the EVA pod, but I don't know where to go. I've looked at some walkthroughs and they say that the Goliath is at Gingivitis. If I go there, the Goliath appears and I can continue playing the game.

My question is: How are you supposed to know where to go without looking at walkthroughs? Are there any clues in the game, or are you supposed to visit all the planets until you just happen to notice that Gingivitis is the correct one?

I've just beamed up from Genetix (where I picked up the liquid nitrogen). I've also cured Bea from the mutation. When I speak to WD-40 she recommends sneaking aboard the Goliath.

So, all that's left of the game is the endgame aboard the Goliath and the Eureka.

If I recall, one of your crew members tells you the Goliath is in the vicinity of Gingivitis.

Right you are! WD-40 says it if you order her to scan for ships. Apparantly, communications are still blocked, but scanning is not.

Completely OT: Don't ask me why I remember this, but I recognise your nick, Datadog. I think it's from reading some SQ fan fiction. Did you ever write any? I guess it must have been around 10 years ago Very Happy
