|
| When i try to exit the sewer and get in the ship, every time, a police guy comes out and shoots me. I wait till they all come out, then i go, still happens. If i wait till they all leave the screen, same thing happens. There is no way around it, maybe i am doing something wrong. What would cause this to happe, if anybody has a saved game in the docking bay, could they please give it to me, Thanx |

The CD version of SQ4 has timing errors when run on high-speed systems. They cause several of the game's event timers to speed up, thus making events happen too soon. The Sequel Police are supposed to wait a little bit before shooting you, thus letting you reach the ship, but this fails to work properly on new systems. Similar bugs can (and will) show up later in the game.
If you want to pass that part yourself, get a slowdown utility like MoSlo or Turbo (both are on the Broomcloset's downloads page). They can slow down your system speed enough to make the timers behave like they should. They don't work on some systems, though.
If you can't get them to work, or you're too lazy to bother with them , then you can find some packs of savegames on the 'Closet as well. They'll let you jump to just about any point in the game that you want. :)
P.S. If you do try to use slowdown progs to pass that part, make sure that you don't leave the manhole close-up view until ALL of the Sequel Policemen leave the screen. If you leave before then, they'll get you for sure, timers or not. _________________
