This would probably sound like some kind of n00b comment, but if they had the Olympics (or something similar) in the Space Quest universe, what kind of sick, deranged games would people, robots, and aliens be competing in anyways? I can't imagine any universe that would consume "Soylent Clear" or play slot machines that turn you to ashes would compete in anything normal like track and field.

No, but they might have Trick and Steal, instead of Track and Field.

However, since this is Space Quest related, you could have the 100-meter trash vaporizer race, where you have to negotiate a route of trash cans, vaporize the trash, and make it to your goal without missing a single can.

Or, you could have the Orat Strong-Man competition, where various competitors try to lift an Orat over their head without getting eaten or formed into a basketball.

Perhaps a little more traditional items might be in order, like the Athletic Supporter Sling Shot competition, where people try to hit a man-sized target with a rock slung from an athletic supporter.

Or even the Orat Shotput, where you see how far you can huck a bottle of dehydrated water.

Or with donations from the Gippazoid company, they could put a new twist on the whole track and field thing by encouraging competitors NOT TO SLOW DOWN.

Same could apply with swimming - except just place a giant squid in the pool.

How does one fix an active account? Please, don't say just activate it. Futur Olympics: poll volting over hot lava or a crocodile pit. The one 100 meter dash but instead of being measured by meters it's measured in minutes. Who ever runs for 100 minutes first wins.

Trust me, I know just how stupid that last sentence is also, I know you should never end a sentence with a preposition.
