New idea sprang into my head a while back, revealed when I gently guided this thread (over at the JT) into it.

Say the SQ community bought the license for the series (supposing it can be done). No more worries about prosecution - fangames could be "official".

Anyway, read through the above-mentioned thread, and let me know if you're interested. Thanks.

It would probably cost a few dozen or hundred times more than the maximum amount of money the current community can scoop together. And I don't think it would be worth it. Some people will consider fangames canonical even without a license and some of them wouldn't consider them official even if they'd be approved by the group of the license-approvers.

A waste of time and energy, in my opinion. Though you can go knock your socks off if you want to Wink

I really hate the fact that no one reads any of the general discussion posts becuase this is one of the few subjects that I can actually post in because guests cannot post in the off topic. So, if you think about this probably won't even be read, that means when I'am referrring to "you", the reader that isn't there, I am referring to not a soul. What also bothers me, is that I registered and received a new password and the new password didn't work. So then, I tried to change my username but I would have to supply a different Email address and that's just stupid period That's right, I spelled the period period period
