Ruminations on mortality

When I someday depart this little blue marble we call Earth, I can only hope that the loved ones I leave behind are able to solemnly proclaim that I died just like I lived — locked in a brutal struggle to the death with a giant pterodactyl.

When I first read this, I thought it said, “JESUS died like he lived…”…and it made me CRACK UP!!!!!!
I kinda want to make t-shirts.
Well thank god you haven’t already died. I was beginning to worry…
pterodactyl would be a stand-in for fedora and pipe guy, yes?
no?
Hi, Jess! ♥
Please tell me that somehow this music is involved.

I’ve been worried about you! So much so that I moved you into my “blogs I love but aren’t updated frequently” category. I’m ready to put you back to the head of the class! Will we be hearing more from you now?
He lives! Welcome back, Jess! I knew if I checked this thing everyday, I’d see an update somewhere.
Always pictured you as a grizzly-shark man, though.
Giant Pterodactyl. Interesting way to go. It makes one ponder about the recurrence of the extinct. Have a great week!
So … that was nearly a month ago. Have you been slain in the manner which you desired? Shall we rouse the bards to sing your tale?
I’m very concerned that it’s been such a long time since your last post, and that Lost is coming back and you’ve yet to be heard from. Where will get our Lost-vivor from?
You realize this post gets more ominous by the day, don’t you?
I’ve just started reading your old lost-vivor series. Come back and do the next season, or I won’t know how much I should hate Juliet!
I agree with the above statement. I still laugh every time I read “They stole my damn boat, brotha!”
Lost won’t be the same without you, plus there’s a good chance you’ll only be doing a third of the episodes as last year.
