To: Barrel of Monkeys
From: Jess Subject: RE: RE: RE: Yo! Mr. Monkeys, I’m sorry, but I’m not sure if I fully understood your last e-mail. Is Ashton another student signed up for the class? Why should I call him? Do you have his number? Furthermore, precisely what is involved in getting “punk’d?” Should I be concerned and/or consult a medical professional? Please clarify. Jess |

How is that being Punk’d?
I loved your reaction… you just took the wind out of his sails.
thing number one: wow.
thing number two: some people have way too much time on their hands.
I know the phrase “I weep for the future” is thrown around a lot, but it really is the most appropriate one here.
Also, did you get my email?
The arrogance in the first email is almost more sad than the prank itself.
I love your response though, especially addressing him as “Mr. Monkeys.”
You handled that perfectly.
That was the best reaction ever. Too cool.
Damn kids!
You are the coolest professor EVER! Love the exchange!
I’ve read through all your “Tales from the classroom” in a couple of days, and i’m now waiting for new anecdotes… Thanks a lot for this very funny blog, I’m looking forward to reading you again!
