Hair care for when there’s no hair there?

Bald GuyzA trip to the pharmacy is like a blog entry waiting to happen. Just yesterday, I stumbled across the new Bald Guyz line of hair care (head care?) products. Pictured to the left are the Bald Guyz Head Wipes, boasting “an exclusive Swiss formula made with Green Tea extract, moisturizers, and gentle cleansers to wipe away the natural oils secreted during the day.” I guess a description like that moves more units than labeling the box, “Baby wipes for your head!”

Other products in the Bald Guyz line include a shampoo, moisture gel, and “Deep Cleanser and Conditioner.” Since we’re talking about bald guys here — oh, I’m sorry, bald guyz — by “deep” conditioner, do they mean it’s going straight through the skull to condition the brain? Inquiring minds want to know.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills here. Carrie at Atomic Bombshell has seen ‘em too, though, so at least I know it wasn’t all figment of my imagination.

And while we’re on the topic, who gave the Swiss a chokehold over the formulary for health and beauty products? Is there some facet of Swiss culture that makes them cleaner and more moisturized than the rest of us? I’ve never understood that…

I created the Bald Guyz products because there were no products specifically made for the sensitive skin of the head.
