Now, if someone could just do this for Usher’s “Confessions”

Something Awful serves up Cliffs Notes on R. Kelly’s five-part opus “Trapped in the Closet.” I see this song achieving a cultural relevance rivaling that of Bob Dylan’s “Blowin’ in the Wind” or John Lennon’s “Imagine” in a few years.

That is awesome. All we need is for them to tackle a Meat Loaf video, or maybe that Lionel Richie one with the clay head.
I loathe this song, but I love Something Awful. I can’t wait to read through the Cliff notes.
Yeah well, I’ll bet you didn’t have to play AT LEAST two of the parts on your radio show like I did when it first hit three months ago. See, the rest of the U.S. is finally going throuhg the hell of listening to it, but Black radio has moved on to other tunes that will drive folks nuts. Beware of Maceo’s “Go Sit Down” soon.
I see the “Trapped in the Closet” Hip Hopera as something of an Irony. After he gets done pissing on people he’ll have his big “coming out” party…and it’ll be official, anyone will be able to look R. Kelly up in the “Pink Pages”
