The show still isn’t that funny

I’m not what you’d call a Family Guy fan, but this clip featuring Chris stumbling into the pencil-sketched world of a-ha’s classic “Take On Me” music video made me spit Diet Dr. Pepper all over my monitor. [via]

My brother is fond of Peter Griffin singing Rock Lobster…

thats great!
Pure genius. And I hate to say it, Jess, but you’re just wrong about FG — it is brilliant.
the tragedy of this is, i can remember the original video … *sigh* …
Absolutely loved that one, but if you weren’t a fan of FG before it made it’s comeback I doubt the new episodes will convert you. Season 3 was by far the best.
I’m glad to see someone whose judgement I respect not thinking Family Guy all that great. The humor is often painfully obvious, pun-tastic or just lowbrow (although I must say that I enjoy Stewie).
That was great!!!
Family Guy is one of my alltime favorites. And WHAT is wrong with a bit of lowbrow humor, anyway? (Monty Python, anyone?)
Thank you, thank you, thank, you, thank you! I have been looking for this clip EVERYWHERE!
Calling Monty Python lowbrow is just insane. It was off-the-wall, surreal and often silly, but never *ever* low-brow. Summarizing Proust, anyone?
Seriously…
