Congo line

I’ve read over 4,000* essays about the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the past 24 hours. With roughly 190 sovereign countries around the globe today and 50 students in my class, where are the reports on Djibouti? Or Liechtenstein? Or this “Canada” I’ve heard so much about?
*Admittedly, a rough estimate.

It’s all Jennifer Lopez’ fault with that dumb movie she made.
Crap, that was Anaconda…same diffrence.
Hey, how many of the essays include words like “LOL” and “IMHO”?
Jess, I stole your Random 10 lyrics game again. Sorry, but it’s fun when you’ve got blog-writer’s block!
Hey, I did a report on Liectenstein back when I was in 7th grade. And, even more obscure, I did a report in Bhutan in 6th grade (1993). This was pre-internet age, so all I had was the one book the library had, as well as the one article (from the 1970’s) that my dad had in his National Geographic collection.
The capital is Thimpu, their prince (from 1993, at least) had a name of Wangchuck. It’s the Land of the Thunder Dragon, they have ceremonial drums at the temples, and their big sport is archery.
Liechtenstein’s capital is Vaduz, it’s only 62 square miles. People like to collect their stamps. And 15 years ago, they were good at manufacturing dentures. Also, their motto was “Go to it, not through it.”
I have no idea how I can remember all of that, but I do.
What about mybouti? Also, I know you still blame me for the international relations “Nigeria” incident.
Do you still have that book that was never used?
Heh, heh, teedz said, “My booty.”
Heh, heh.
