Free iPod Mini

You’ve probably seen other bloggers begging their readers to help them win a free iPod by completing various trial offers on FreeiPods.com. I acknowledge, however, that nobody wants to sign up for a 45-day AOL trial or join the Columbia House Music Club just so I can reap the benefits.
That being said, I am now accepting donations in order to purchase a free iPod Mini for myself. If just five Apropos of Something readers donate a mere $50 each, I can be listening to the Shins on my free, candy-colored iPod by this time next week. Imagine all the joy of helping someone acquire a free iPod with none of the hassle of canceling a trial subscription to Sports Illustrated!

On a totally irrelevant, but more important note: I have juicy information on the fedora-and-pipe guy.
1. He’s apparently some sort of a C-list celebrity on campus. He’s been at school for 8 or more years, is widely known as the “bathrobe guy” (since he often sports a bathrobe) and nobody really knows if he’s still registered.
2. He is dirty (as in “rarely takes a shower”)
3. Someone I know once saw him follow and join an unsuspecting crowd into a restaurant, then sit at their table, order food and finally leave without paying. And he did not know these people at all!
Now you know your archnemesis better. As all villain archnemeses, he’s insane. So is he genious insane a la Lex Luther or Joker or is he only insane in a lame, boring way?

I’d only add that you probably want folks to give you the three digit code from the back of the card as well. A lot of merchants require that too.
