Via Michele…
CD I have in my car that I roll up the windows to listen to
Best of the Monkees
Book I read flat so no one could see the title
Countless Star Trek novels (most recently, Vulcan’s Glory by D.C. Fontana)
Crappiest song ever sung at karaoke
I’ve never actually had the guts to do karaoke, but I came thisclose to performing “Ice, Ice Baby” on my recent cruise. Thankfully, cooler heads prevailed.
Bad movie I watch repeatedly
Major League starring Tom Berenger, Charlie Sheen, Wesley Snipes, and Rene Russo. I must have seen this at least a hundred times by now.
Article of clothing I love though I know it’s wrong
My ever-dwindling collection of plaid flannel shirts from the mid-1990s.
What I order at the bar when no one is listening
Dr. Pepper (or a Mr. Pibb if I’m feeling really daring).
Fast food item I adore
When the mood strikes me, there’s nothing like a Big Mac. Thankfully, I’ve been on the wagon now for nearly three years.
A TV show that is a good example of the downfall of civilization that I love anyway
The Surreal Life.
Feel free to play along on your own blog or in the comments.

Nothing. If the barman can’t hear you, you probably won’t be served.
I have the Monkees CD in my van too!
That’s Pibb Xtra! now.
Hey I have that Monkees CD too! I didn’t know I should be “rolling up the windows” (does anyone still roll up windows? Isn’t that kind of like “dialing the telephone”?)
Guilty Pleasures
I’m out enjoying the snow, re-living my youth and remembering the things I loved most about winter in the frozen tundra of Minnesota.
In the mean time, here’s a meme I found over at Apropos of Something:
