Normally, I don’t run with unconfirmed stories like this, but with all the controversy concerning the authenticity of the recently-leaked Bush Texas Air National Guard memos swirling around, I felt an obligation to publish this apparent 1973 memo that I received from an anonymous source earlier today.
Note the presence of the ultra-realistic coffee stain on the document. Initial tests performed in the Apropos of Something labs indicate that the brand of coffee that made the stain was Cafe Kona — a brand that hasn’t been on the store shelves since 1973. Thus, we have proof positive of this latest memo’s authenticity.
