 General Comments: 
       The Lo Tek virus was submitted in July, 1994.  Its origin or point of 
       isolation is unknown.  Lo Tek is a non-resident direct action infector 
       of .COM and .EXE programs, but not COMMAND.COM. 
 
       When a program infected with the Lo Tek virus is executed, this virus 
       will infect two .COM or .EXE programs located in the current 
       directory, with preference given to .COM files over .EXE files. 
       Infected .COM files will have a file length increase of 859 bytes 
       while infected .EXE files will increase in size by 856 bytes.  In 
       both cases, the virus will be located at the end of the file.  The 
       program's date and time in the DOS disk directory listing will not be 
       altered.  The following text strings are encrypted within the viral 
       code: 
 
               "*.*" 
               "MM[BW" 
               "[Lo Tek] by MnemoniX" 
 
       It is unknown what Lo Tek does besides replicate.
