General Comments:
The StarDot 600 virus was submitted in April, 1991. Its origin is
unknown. This virus is a non-resident infector of .EXE programs.
When a program infected with StarDot 600 is executed, StarDot 600
will infect one .EXE program in the current directory. Programs
infected with StarDot 600 will increase in length by 604 to 616
bytes with the virus being located at the end of the newly infected
file. The file's date and time in the disk directory will not be
altered.
StarDot 600 will occassionally write random data to the default
drive at times, as well as send random data to the system I/O
ports (37F to 3DF).
