 General Comments:
The Shaman virus was submitted in March, 1993. Its origin or
point of isolation is unknown. Shaman is a non-resident, direct
action infector of .COM programs, including COMMAND.COM.

When a program infected with the Shaman virus is executed, this
virus will infect all of the .COM programs located in the current
directory. Infected programs will have a file length increase of
251 bytes with the virus being located at the beginning of the file.
The program's date and time in the DOS disk directory listing will
have been updated to the current system date and time when infection
occurred. The following text strings can be found within the viral
code in all Shaman infected programs:

               "*.com"
"Demo Virus v1.0 Copyright (c) 20.8.1991 by Shaman"

Shaman doesn't appear to do anything besides replicate.
