General Comments:
The Polish 583 virus originated in Poland and was submitted in
December, 1990. This virus is a non-resident, direct action
infector of .COM files, including COMMAND.COM.
When a program infected with Polish 583 is executed, the virus will
infect one other .COM file on the current drive and directory. The
newly infected program will increase in length by 583 bytes with
the virus's code being located at the end of the infected program.
The program's date and time in the disk directory is not altered.
This virus does not do anything besides replicate.
