General Comments:
The PC Flu virus was received from Europe in November, 1991. Its
origin is unknown. PC Flu is a memory resident infector of .COM
programs, including COMMAND.COM.
The first time a program infected with PC Flu is executed, PC Flu
will become memory resident in low system available free memory,
hooking interrupt 21. Total system and available free memory will
not be changed.
Once PC Flu is memory resident, it will infect .COM programs,
including COMMAND.COM, when they are executed or opened for any
reason. Programs infected with PC Flu will have increased in size
by 802 bytes. The virus will be located at the end of the infected
file. The following text string will be found near the end of all
infected programs:
"PC-FLU by WIZARD 1991"
It is unknown what PC Flu does besides replicate.
