Are you stuck in the Space Quest series? If so, the Virtual Broomcloset is here to provide saved games for the entire Space Quest series. Have you been trying to get Roger through the Skate-O-Rama for months? Do you encounter an Error 47 every time you attempt to scan the datacard in Space Quest 6? Or, do you just want to skip to a particular scene in any of the games? These saved games might be the answer to your prayers! Please note, however, that these games might overwrite your previously-saved games. You've been warned!
Please note that some of the following files will require a decompression program to unzip. Also, if you receive an error message while trying to load these games (generally stating that the game was saved under a different interpreter), it probably means that the saved games here are not compatible with your version of a give Space Quest episode. portions of the game are nearly impossible to complete. These sequences
include boarding the Sequel Police Patrol Ship in SQ12, riding the
submarine in SQ10, and escaping the Skate-O-Rama in SQ10. The following self-extracting file will provide a selection of saved games for the Windows CD-ROM version of Space Quest 4 included with the Space Quest Collection. These saved games only function if the
game is installed under Windows (using "setup.exe" to install rather than
"install.exe") and may or may not work with other versions of SQ4. The
saved games are intended to bypass the various timing-based "problem
points" in SQ4. After downloading the file, double-click to extract these files into the
directory or folder where you installed SQ4 (in most cases, the default path is
"C:\Sierra\Sqcol\Sq4"). The self-extracting file includes a detailed
installation text. Also included in this file are saved games in which
Roger is seated in the timepod in SQ10 and SQ12, providing gamers with the
codes necessary to return to these time periods later in the game.
